Applying for finance
If you wish to apply for finance simply add the items to your shopping cart online as usual and when you are within the limit (over £1,000) a Finance option will appear in the payment screen of the checkout. It really is that simple!
We will then contact you regarding the arrangement of finance and answer any questions you may have.
How quickly will my application be processed?
We are able to process finance applications during office hours (9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank & Public holidays). We endeavour to process all applications fully in the quickest time possible.
Once my application is approved, what happens next?
Once you have been approved, you'll need to read the agreement carefully, then sign and return it to our finance company. Note that products will not be allocated to your order until your completed and signed agreement is returned and received by our finance company. Shipment of your goods will follow as soon as your agreement has been returned to our finance company.
Will you credit score me and if so, what does this mean?
Credit scoring is the process used by financial services companies to evaluate the credit risk of new applicants. This technique will be applied to your application for online finance. Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies. This information allows us to produce consistent decisions, ensuring all our applicants are treated fairly. Credit scoring does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion, disability or colour.
NOTE! Even for those with poor previous credit history we can usually secure a finance package to suit your circumstances. Why not ask!
If my application is not successful, can I re-apply?
Yes. We acknowledge that your circumstances change and just because we have refused a previous application, it does not mean that we'll automatically turn down a further request.
NOTE! Our Broker will only apply for your finance once he is sure of your circumstances, thereby giving you the best opportunity of getting approved. We can usually obtain finance for even those with a poor credit history.
Who is eligible to apply Finance?
Private Individuals, Limited Companies, Partnerships, PLC’s, Local Authorities, Schools, Colleges, Universities in fact most organisations and private customers who are based in the UK or Ireland.
Can I change my order in part or whole after signing the Finance documents?
To ensure your chosen products are correctly delivered to you, if you need to change your order in anyway, it will be necessary to cancel and re-order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Are the goods I’ve ordered set aside for me until the approval process is complete?
Our system is such that goods are allocated to your order only when your completed and signed agreement is received back. This means there's a small chance that the product you ordered may be sold out by the time your agreement is received. To avoid disappointment, we recommend minimising any delay by completing and returning the agreement as soon as you can.
What products can I not buy with finance?
All our products are available on the Standard Finance scheme, assuming the total net value is £1,000 or greater. Certain products are also available on our 0% Interest scheme, please ask when you know the products you require and we shall be happy to advise you.
